Our Story

HI!

My name is Kara Weaver and I am the owner of Charlie's Jeans Children's Boutique. I am a wife to a wonderful husband, James, and mother to three amazing kids, James Jr., Travis, and Charlie Jean. You may have noticed two familiar words in the previous sentence and yes I named my company after my daughter. When I had my boys I noticed it was very hard to find cute, unique clothing for them but I chalked that up to the fact that they were boys. Boys were suppose to like trucks, dogs, and monsters therefore it showed in most companies selections of clothing for them. I quickly noticed the trend but did not think much of it until I had a daughter. I faced some of the same struggles with my baby girl's clothing but I also noticed that if you wanted anything remotely unique I had to pay a small fortune. As a mother of three that was not an option for me therefore I set out on a mission. That mission was to find cute, affordable clothing while still getting amazing quality. Fast forward and here we are! I want you to know that I would not expect you to dress your child in the items from my boutique if I would not. DON'T FORGET... WE ARE ON THIS MISSION TOGETHER!

One thing I feel is an asset to my company is that I am a young mother. James, a Marine turned electrician, and I met in 2013 and married in 2014. I was just 20 years old. Soon after we learned we were expecting our first son, James Junior. Right after his first birthday we learned our second son, Travis, was on his way. We were surprised but ecstatic when we found out we would be welcoming a baby girl 16 months later. Now 24 years old my forever family is complete and there aren't enough words or emotions to express how amazing that feels. You may be wondering why these things would be beneficial for Charlie's Jeans as well as you. I love fashion, especially for children. Being young helps me stay on track with the ins and outs of fashion. As I said previously I want beautiful, unique, and well put together items to fill my collection intern to fill your child's closet. Just as many other 24 year olds are I am just getting into my career. My goal is to have this business for the rest of my life. I would love to build and expand this company into something huge. You and your support will do that for me.

I appreciate you taking the time to check out my website. I will be adding sneak peeks of new coming inventory as often as possible. I am very excited to see where this will lead me and I hope you join me on this journey.

*Please do not ever hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. Remember I am just a half-sane, sleep deprived, proud supporter of messy buns and sweatpants, mom like you.
